The BCNA Beautification Committee welcomes your interest and participation in maintaining and improving our common green space!

The primary role of beautification is oversight of our landscape maintenance company. BCNA contracts out the basic routine maintenance of our common green space, including lawn care and mowing, trimming and pruning of shrubs and trees, blowing off leaves in the fall, and litter pick-up. The maintenance crew comes once every one to two weeks, depending on the season.

In addition, the committee has a small “discretionary” budget for additional maintenance and improvements. Projects such as removing and replacing diseased trees, planting additional shrubs, perennials, and bulbs, and putting out additional mulch are examples of discretionary projects.

BCNA Beautification Committee is also interested in developing and improving two parks on our Brookhaven borders. We will be working with other community partners as well as local governments to try and make these areas a more usable and enjoyable to our neighborhood. Little Nancy Creek Park

Little Nancy Creek Park is a newly acquired five acre City of Atlanta park on Peachtree Dunwoody Road across from Winall Down Road.

Brookhaven Park

Brookhaven Park is a multi-acre Dekalb County park on the corner of Peachtree Road and Osborne Road.
